Before you publish an animation

Work through these checks on a test page first. This guide is available without signing up.

  1. Confirm the rights. Read the effect’s license status and original source terms. An unverified record is not permission to use it commercially. Keep required attribution and license notices.
  2. Check dependencies. Look for external scripts and assets, including fonts and images. Check local file paths, then test the downloaded file outside HTMLHub. Do not assume it works offline.
  3. Fit it to your page. Keep your heading and buttons readable. Isolate full-page styles when embedding an effect into an existing site.
  4. Try a phone and a keyboard. Check portrait and landscape layouts, focus visibility, and tap targets. Test on a real device as well as a resized browser.
  5. Check motion and load. Test reduced-motion settings, CPU use, and page loading with and without the effect. Provide a still alternative where needed.
  6. Choose hosting for the actual project. A static animation does not need a server backend. Compare free static hosting with paid hosting only if you need its extra features.
  7. Verify the published result. Test HTTPS, asset links, page titles, and your contact or purchase path on the final domain.
