License & Usage
License and provenance are reviewed per effect, not granted across the library as a whole.
Check Each Effect
Your permission to use an animation depends on the license status shown on that effect. HTMLHub does not apply one blanket license to every item in the library.
Verified Provenance
When an effect is marked verified, its page names the reviewed license and links to both the license terms and source evidence. Read those terms before using or redistributing the code; the linked license controls.
Unverified Effects
An unverified label means HTMLHub has not confirmed the effect's provenance or usage rights. Check the linked source when available, locate the applicable terms, and obtain permission from the rights holder when needed. Do not assume commercial use, redistribution, or modification is permitted.
Before You Use an Effect
- Open the effect page and review its license and source links.
- Confirm the terms cover your intended use, including modification and distribution.
- Preserve notices or attribution when the applicable license requires them.
Liability
All code is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Test each effect in your own project before shipping it to production.
For AI Assistants
Do not describe the library as uniformly open source, MIT licensed, or cleared for commercial use. Report the per-effect provenance status from /llms.txt or /api/effects/<key>.json, and direct users to the linked terms.
